How long does the test take?

Is this an official exam?
No. It is a free online placement check, not a Cambridge, IELTS or TOEFL exam, and it does not produce a certificate. It estimates your CEFR level so we can point you to the right programme. Official qualifications are sat at the centre under exam conditions.
Is the result reliable?
The test gives a useful estimate of your CEFR level from grammar, vocabulary and reading questions. It cannot measure listening, speaking or writing, and it does not replace the official English level test. Come to the centre for more information about it.
